A Valentine’s Day gifting campaign focused on shared experiences, pairing Apple products to highlight connection, creativity, and moments built together.

Challenge
Valentine's Day drives major revenue for Apple, but most gift guides feel transactional. The challenge was creating a direct mail piece that felt emotional and inspiring, not like a product catalog.

Concept
With Apple, connection happens in the moments you share, not the boxes you unwrap. The V-Day Gift Guide showed how Apple products enable those moments.

 
 
 

Designing Connection, Not Just a Gift

Each product pairing suggested a shared experience couples could create together.

 

A Visual Language for Connection

My design partner and I experimented with Apple's free engraving feature, creating a visual language using emojis to express connection. Leadership loved it so much that they expanded the campaign scope to include this DM.

 
 

Impact

The campaign proved that even in tech, emotion wins. By focusing on what couples could do together rather than what they could buy, we made Apple products feel like catalysts for connection instead of just gadgets.
